Bitter cold winter weather outlook for the lake Cumberland area. December 4, 2024.

Our next concern will be THURSDAY MORNING where we will likely see wind gust to 45 MPH and temperatures across southern Kentucky in the low to mid teens. Across east and north east Kentucky, expect single digit wind chill readings.

Snowfall will be the greatest in eastern Kentucky, east of Interstate 75 overnight with some places seeing 1-3 inches. In south central Kentucky, don’t anticipate much accumulation.
