The Greenup Gazette

A recap of Nancy’s story.

Nancy is a fictional person from Greenup County. Nancy hasn’t had it easy. She was wounded while pregnant with her twins, who were both born with disabilities. Nancy gave her life to God after the near death crime, but her husband Garrett drifted futher away.

In the second book, One Step Toward Faith, Nancy learns her husband is cheating on her,, while she is pregnant with their third child.

In book three, while trying to rebuild her marriage and battle postpartum, Nancy returns to her job as a police officer. On her first day back, her best friends are hit by a log truck. Will they survive, and what will this do to Nancy?

Nancy strives to cling to God. Later in the series, Nancy faces loss and heartbreak again. However, who will God place in her life? How will she handle another battle with postpartum, while still battling her PTSD? How many children will Nancy be blessed with, and will she ever regain her sight?

Nancy is a relatable character to many.
