Tell us about the last thing you got excited about.

I had been considering how to write this post, and what to title it. God dropped today’s daily prompt in my path.
As a visually impaired adult, we sometimes need a little more help with tasks, or we may do something differently than you.
Coloring is calming. But at the same time, for me, in order for me to color it has to be done differently.
First, the lines have to be dark, and pretty big pictures. Ideally, with raised lines.
But in this case, it was not a raised lined book.
With that being said, in order to color, I have to hold my face extremely close to the page. If I’m not careful, I can easily strain my good eye.
For this picture yesterday, and another today, I had a kind hand to guide mine.
God places people in our life where and when we need them. Some come in the way of biological family. Other times, God brings friends into our life, who become family. My adopted Mom will never know how much it means to me for her taking the time to help this 29 year old color a photo.
Thanks Momma Betty.
