God’s guidance through gaslighting is the only way to survive.

Have you ever wondered what God had to say about gaslighting?
Truth in God’s scriptures.
- John 8:32: “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” This verse highlights the importance of knowing God’s truth to overcome doubts and manipulation. If we pray and focus on God and His word, the truth will come. That is not to say we will not have hard times, and times where we feel confused. But allowing God to lead us and grant us His comfort is amazing.
- Proverbs 12:19: “The lip of truth shall be established forever: But a lying tongue is but for a moment.” This passage of God’s scripture reminds us the permanence of truth over lies.
- Ephesians 4:25: “Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbor: for we are members one of another.”This verse encourages honesty in any and all relationships. Have you ever heard the term, “Honesty is the best policy,”? This verse is a reminder of that. If you do not have honesty in any relationship, then what do you have? How many times have people even tried manipulating God?
Proverbs 24:6: “For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war: and in multitude of counsellors there is safety.” Listening to good counsel is wise. It is sometimes hard to know who to listen to. This scripture brings to mind that having many advisors can offer diverse thoughts and answers. If these sources are in counsel with God, you will be led toward better decision-making and outcomes. However, take care to seek God’s leading in listening to counsel of others. Not everyone has your best at heart. Recall the wolf in sheep’s clothing? That is what you can walk into without knowing it. God will show you, but sometimes things can be made to look and sound so good, we disregard the leading of God. Again, remember gaslighting is evil. Take time to pray and ponder this verse. God will show you what you need to know.¹
In essence, this verse encourages²:
Seeking Wisdom: Understanding the value of wise counsel in navigating life’s complexities.
Collaboration: Recognizing the benefits of working with others to achieve a common goal.
Humility: Being open to input and guidance from others, acknowledging that one person doesn’t have all the answers.
This verse encourages us to seek God’s wisdom in times of uncertainty.
James 1:5
“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.”
This verse is an encouragement to believers to seek wisdom from God. Recall God is the author of peace, not evil and confusion. Gaslighting is just that, evil and confusing. It causes you to doubt so much.
- Proverbs 15:22: “Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counselors they are established.
- This scripture highlights the value of surrounding ourselves with wise counsel. Wise counsel does. not tell you to do what makes you happy when it is unsafe or unhealthy. This could be spiritually and or mentally and physical. Wise counsel will lovingly share with you the truth of God, and have your best at heart. Gaslighting does none of these wise things. Your best intrest is the farthest from their mind.
Embracing Identity in Christ
- 2 Corinthians 5:17: This verse reminds us of our new identity in Christ and the importance of standing firm against manipulation.
- More scriptures to talk to God about.
- 1 John 3:1 This passage reassures us of our identity as God’s children.
- Isaiah 43:4: This verse expresses God’s eternal love for us.
Finding Strength in Difficult Times
- Philippians 4:13: “I can do all this through him who gives me strength.” This verse highlights God’s strength in overcoming challenges, including gaslighting.
- Isaiah 41: This passage reassures us of God’s continual presence and support.
Concluding, I pray this has been a help to you my friend.
God will never allow HIS children to walk alone.
