If you could make your pet understand one thing, what would it be?

I was blessed to adopt Ashton when she was six years old from a pet rescue. Now 13 1/2 she is still such a joy and blessing. I made God a promise that I would take care of my blessing and I intend to fulfill that promise until she takes her last breath.
