A strong low pressure system will bring widespread rainfall to the area this evening through tonight.
1 to 1.5 inches of rainfall is expected for most, although localized amounts over 2 inches can`t be ruled out.
Look for ponding of water on roadways, and perhaps some localized flood issues for typically flood prone locations.
A few pockets of strong, gusty winds are possible overnight,
especially with isolated thunderstorms.
