One Step Toward Faith takes us deeper into the stories of the fictional folks from Emergency Romance. One Step Toward Faith is book two in The God’s Silver Lining Book Series.
We follow Michael and Emma as they raise their family. What miracle does God have in store for them? When friends are in trouble they step in. They open their hearts, home, and love to Nancy and her family. Their son, MJ is a thoughtful teen. He helps care for his crippled little sister. Lilly Mae and Michael were seriously injured the night Lilly and her big brother were rescued from their drug addicted and abusive parents. (Takes place in Emergency Romance book one.)
Will Lilly ever walk again? Also get to know the new baby.

Nancy is trying to keep the faith that her husband, Garrett, will allow Jesus into his heart. She prays sooner than later. She isn’t sure how much more of his hurtful angry words, drinking, and everything else she can take. Her twin daughter’s have both been diagnosed with disabilities. She clings more tightly to her new found relationship with God. But Garrett continues sliding more toward rock bottom of a slippery slope. Will he ever realize what he is doing? Or his affair destroy their marriage for good.

We met the police chief, Limuel, in book one. But we learn in this story, he has been keeping a secret from everyone. She’s pretty too.

It was in Emergency Romance that we met Buddy, his wife Sue, and their daughter Tammy Lyn.
We learned of their daughter’s tragic death at the end of book one.
Continue to follow her parents through their grief in this Book Series. What blessing in the dark does God have for them?

It all comes down to the railroad tracks an ER cubical, and a hospital room for Garrett and Nancy. Will they survive? Either one?
