While I am blessed to be the author of 11 published titles, this is my first movie script. It’s a new challenge which I have wanted to complete for sometime now.
I have emergency services running in my blood. I am visually impaired, and addicted to reading and writing.
Log line A small town robbery, murder, and kidnapping, and story of love.
Set in the fictional town of Candy County Alabama, assistant Police Cheif Elizebeth Day doesn’t mind being the assistant. But she is regretting her application to the upcoming job opening of police chief. In the mean time a wealthy banker and his wife are murdered, and their baby is missing. With this brings officer Day’s overwhelming desire to find the baby girl she left behind sixteen years ago.
John Paulsan and his sixteen year old visually impaired daughter Hayley are broken. John’s dad recently passed away. John has been consumed with home life and work. But now, his daughter wants to find her mother. Elizebeth walked away sixteen years ago. What if she rejects their daughter again? When he finds Elizebeth online, and discovers her police department is hiring, the police officer of twenty five years applies. When he flies from Florida to Alabama. He hopes she won’t figure out who he is until he can sniff her out.
