If you were going to open up a shop, what would you sell?
If I owned a shop I would sale what?
Surprisingly this has been a thought that has crossed my mind more than once. With the hardship of finding a job as a disabled person, owning my own business has been in my mind. But, that takes funds I don’t have.
Before I get into what I would sell, let me share something else’s first. I would want to hire American Veterans, elderly, and disabled. I also find it hard to get a job when you have no experience, and that is required. How are young people, or those entering the work force for the first time in life, going to get experience if not given a fair chance.
So, what ever I sold, I would want to show others not to let boundaries set by others stand in their way.
I am an author. So a Christian book store would be a possibility. There needs to be more positivity and focus on Jesus everywhere. I might also consider a Christian based clothing store. It’s hard to find modest clothing in any size. Don’t get me wrong, there are still some. But, a lot of times it is so high priced it is hard to afford. Another choice I might would think about would be a store for the disabled and elderly. Wheel chairs, walkers, braille and hearing products, and more. I have played with that idea several years back.
I have made no steps in the direction of owning my own business due to unavailability of funds. Also, God just hasn’t led me there.
