Recall what Abraham did with Sarah, his wife, and why. Isaac did the same. What do you make of it?
As you read, make note of things that stick out to you. You might even find some references.
Let’s talk for a moment.
When God says something, it’s so. When God says something is a way, it’s that way. Do we as humans do well on that?
I am not saying what Abraham and Isaac told was exactly right. We all have to work out our own salvation.
We all make mistakes.
Some say a little white lie for the good is okay. But a lie is a lie. That’s me.
In this case it was done as in safety as thought by Abraham and Isaac. Have you ever been in a situation where you were between a rock and hard place on what to say?
God will give us the words. So look at this.
If I’m not mistaken, both were related to their wives. Am I wrong?
Also if we try, in a lot of situations, peace can be made. But sadly, not in all. It takes all parties. God is the FATHER of peace.
