How is the weather looking for fire works and cook outs?

From Chief Weather Forecaster Daniel Wilson at the Storm Alert Center, here is the outlook.

Written by Samantha C Sinclair on July 3, 2024

It’s that time. Independence Day. Let freedom ring.

July fourth there is a 60 percent chance of showers, as well as thunderstorms. Have a backup plan for outdoor gatherings. Also remain alert for symptoms of over heating. Heat index could reach as high as 101. The high will be around 89 degrees., and sunny.

Thursday night the low is expected to drop around 71.

Friday expect showers and possible thunderstorms, precipitation chance 90 percent. Expect a high around 87.

Friday night there is a chance of showers and thunderstorms before 4am. Following that precipitation chance 50 percent, low of 66.

Chief Weather Forecaster Wilson wants to remind everyone if you hear thunder go indoors. You can be struck by lightning if you can hear thunder.

We would also remind you to take the high heat seriously. Take self precaution, check on others, and pets. Insure hydration, and take breaks as often as possible if you must be out in the heat.

BNWS would love to see your fire work photos. Send them on FB @ Books and news with Samantha, or email Samantha.christianfiction@Gmail.com
