The monthly meeting of the Adair county Kentucky school board was held tonight and open to the public.

The meeting began with the pledge of allegiance and a word of prayer.

The agenda for Adair county school board meeting went fairly quickly. Everyone had kind words to say as the superintendent had finished up his first year as superintendent with the school system. One major thing that was decided, pollution insurance would be accepted. They felt it was important to have this type of insurance if necessary, it would cover certain gas, spills and more.

They also discussed important updates being made to the greenhouse, work being done during the summer around the schools, along with other upcoming topics. Some other things included the entrances being striped, and some things being added to polls on the campus. Some of these include flags and possibly some things to do with their sports program.
