If you have been under any of these storms thus far on this Sunday, you know it’s loud, bright, and wet. With chance of flash flooding in place, rain continues to impact the state.
Multiple severe thunder storm warnings, as well as tornado warnings have already impacted the bluegrass state. According to NWS, this only the first wave of storms. More storms are expected later on this evening, and over night. Again, as Chief Forecaster Wilson reminded everyone yesterday, do not get caught up on timing. Stay weather aware, have your plan in place for severe weather shelter, and have multiple ways to receive severe weather updates.
