A lot happens in this wonderful chapter. As we study, if you would, think about a time or situation in your life that to you seemed impossible. But God said, “Yes.” God said, “I can”.
If you would like, on a sheet of paper write your thoughts down. Maybe there is more than one situation or time.
On a sheet of paper if you would like, also write down Bible study references and notes.
First, if you are like me, it helps you to read through the chapter once. Straight through.
Now, make a place on the sheet of paper for each name you find in the chapter.
What did God tell Abram about his name? What about his wife’s name?
How old was Abram?
Why did Abram fall on his face, and laugh?
What did God say when Abram fell upon his face, and laughed?
Why did he laugh? What did he say?
What did God instruct Abram to do for himself and all males in his house?
Who all did God say this instruction was for?
What did God tell Abram about his 13 year old son? There are a couple of things? What was his name?
What things did God speak unto Abram about Abram and his wife that we haven’t yet discussed?
What things stick out to you?
Would you pause with me for a word of prayer? Do you have a prayer list?
