If you are like me, it sometimes helps to read the chapter through once before breaking it down.
Verse 1 Who is Abram’s wife? What is the name of the handmaid?
Verse 2 What did Abram’s wife say unto him? Did he obey?
Verse 3 What did Abram’s wife do? When did this happen?
Verses 4, 5, and 6 What happened when the handmaid saw that she had conceived? What took place between Abram and his wife?
Verses 7 through 14 In these scriptures you may have answers more than once to these questions. Who fled? Who did she flee from? Where did she flee too? Who talked with her? What was spoken?
Verses 15 and 16 Who bare this child? What did his father call him?How old was Abram at this point?
