Tornado watch has been issued for Russell County, Adair county, and surrounding areas in Kentucky.

Are your NOAA weather radios working? How about your phones? Did you get the alert that your area is under a tornado watch?

Remain weather aware through tonight as serious weather conditions could form.

Keep in mind that a tornado watch means conditions are favorable for the development of tornadoes.

Should a warning be issued that means a tornado is occurring, or rotation has been spotted on radar and the probability is a tornado is occurring. Take this seriously.

Know where your safety place is now before warnings are issued. This is the time. Manufactured homes are not in any format a safe place to be in a tornado. Do not depend on outdoor warning sirens.
