With today being a high risk weather day, you should have multiple ways to receive weather warnings. The NOAA weather radio is your best way. You should not depend on outdoor tornado sirens, as they are not made for indoor use.
Know where your place of safety is now, and remember a manufactured home is not a safe place in severe weather.
It is always a good idea to have an emergency kit with extra batteries, water, snacks, and a first aid kit in your safe place or ready to take with you. Also something to protect your head, such as a helmet if you have one.
Stay on alert today, and warn others. Check on family members, friends and neighbors. Also be sure your pets are secure. Remember your pets need safety and comfort just as you do.
