April 22 2024 morning check in with Samantha.

By Samantha C Sinclair

Happy Monday. A lot too get to this morning. But let’s begin with Bible study and prayer.

Here is day two of our Bible Study challenge.

Day 2 of the BNWS Bible Challenge!

Welcome to day two. This morning we will be studying GENESIS chapter two.

Once again, if you or someone you know needs a Bible email Samantha.christianfiction@Gmail.com

Here is a link to read or listen to GENESIS Chapter two.

Genesis 2 KJV – Thus the heavens and the earth were – Bible Gateway

Let’s look at verses 1, 2, and 3.

1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.

2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.

3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

Think about this.
1 What day did God rest from all His work?
2 What does the Bible say about it?
3 Why did He do it?
Think of your own thoughts and questions, and can you find more verses in God’s Holy Word to cross Reference these powerful scriptures?

Now let’s look at verses 4, 5, and 6. Just allow this to sink in.
Now, just think only God could do this. It had never rained before. Look what God did. HE did this! Why as humans is it so hard for us to trust a living God?
Cross References? Thoughts and questions?
Share this with others if you feel led to do so.

Verse 7. Think about it. Isn’t that amazing? Only God could do this. Just sit, and read this verse a few times. Let it really sink in. Talk to God about it. Allow HIM to speak to you. Wow. Powerful.

As you study the remainder of the chapter, allow yourself to be there. Allow yourself to think deeply about what God said to Adam.
What is something God is or has told you to leave alone?
Think about what God says about marriage.
Allow God to bless you with an image of that peaceful garden.
How do you feel?

Who can you share this with? What area can you allow God to help improve in your life?

My song on my heart today is full of truth. When we start our day with God, it sure goes a lot better. Here is a song that speaks so much truth.

Let’s join in prayer. Prayer for Israel, but for all include the US.

Now prayers for those who knew and loved this Christian music singer.
You might have heard some of her music. Overcomer and Good Morning were two of my personal favorites. She was an American Idol star, and a music sensation. Sadly this uplifting singer passed away at the age of 47. Mandisa will be missed and forever loved by so many.
