Fifty years and a solar eclipse

Chief forecaster Daniel Wilson shares The Storm Alert Center will be covering the Solar Eclipse on Monday. Wilson will be covering the event from Greenfield In. If you plan to view this event, be sure to have the special glasses to cover your eyes. Looking at it with out protection could cause damage to the eye.

Another topic Wilson discussed on the podcast today was yesterday’s weather event. There was a lot of damage done in several places. However Wilson shares he is thankful no lives were lost. Wilson says he wishes The Storm Alert Center could do state wide coverage. However, he explains in today’s podcast why he is comfortable with the current coverage area. Also learn a motto Wilson shares came to him several years back.

We couldn’t leave the memory of the 1974 tragic tornado outbreak untouched. Wilson shares personal memories and the impact it left on him.
