Opportunities and hopes of an early Spring from Kentucky Blood Center

Serving seventy plus Hospital’s in Kentucky since 1968, the Kentucky Blood Center relies on the support of blood donors. Winter weather has put a struggle on receiving blood donations according to the centers Facebook page. They are hoping for an early Spring. According to sources, 1 and 4 people will need a transfusion in their life time. Four hundred donors are needed daily in Kentucky. As of Feb. l, according to the Center’s web site, Critical need B-. Also, the Center is low on B+.
