The Call For Emily is a Christian Fiction Suspense upcoming book release, by Samantha C Sinclair. Samantha signed on with Christian Faith Publishing the end of 2023 after The Call For Emily was approved by the publishing company.
Samantha also signed on with Audio Books Network to add an audio addition of the new release.
The Call For Emily should be released the beginning of summer 2024.
Samantha just gave her approval for the interior design of the book to the publishing company.
Samantha says she is very excited and blessed by this amazing opportunity.
“Being accepted by a publisher on the first is a blessing in its self. Then to be told your book is audio book worthy is a gift from God.”
Samantha shares that the fact of it being turned into an audio book holds a great meaning for her.
“Being visually impaired, audio books open up a special thing for us, who are visually impaired. Also, it’s what people want in this busy life. They can listen while driving, or doing house work, what ever they may be doing.”
The Call For Emily has had some resistance.
“The Call For Emily features a little girl with TSC. She has seizures, she can not walk. I have a really good friend whose daughter has this, and she suggested I contact the TSC Alliance. She knows the basics of the book. The little girl is depicted as a hero in the book. However, due to the nature of the story, the TSC Alliance felt it might be upsetting to some in the TSC community. I pray that is not the case. But for that reason, they wished me well, but could not promote the book.”
The Call For Emily is about an abandoned baby, who is left at the towns 911 center. One of the Dispatchers instantly bonded with Emily. She was only a new born. In time, the Dispatcher adopted Emily, with little support from her family. Does their support ever grow for the adoption? What happens when at five years old, the only mother Emily has ever known is murdered? What happens when Emily is the only witness? Can she lead them to the killer before he gets to her and her care givers. Find out how this ties into a case one determined detective has been after solving for twenty years plus. Can he protect his family, Emily, and the others? Or, will he get to Emily first.
