In writing this book, I had to work through several deep heart breaks with these fictional characters. It’s probably an author thing, but I became to think of them as friends.
When Michael and Emma are hit by the log truck, and Nancy is battling PTSD with added Postpartum depression it made for tough writing. On top of that, Limuel and Debbra face heart break with miscarriage. They both deal with that in different ways, as is to be expected. Still yet, they are there for the other, and trust God. God opens Limuel’s eyes in a deep way. Actually, several ways. God knows who and just what we need. HE IS ALWAYS ON TIME!
All through these hard trials, God shows HIS mercy and grace. I love that part about writing and about life.
In the midst of the darkest storm, if God is in your heart, you are never in the dark.
