I was so blessed when Christian Faith Publishing actually accepted my manuscript. The first try. So what is this, and when should it release?
What is The Call For Emily? A baby is abandoned at the local 911 center. A dispatcher on duty falls in love with this precious baby girl. This baby, Emily Rose, was diagnosed with TSC. This little baby suffers from other serious health conditions. It takes some of her adoptive mother’s family, Versie Gail Penacheck, a little time to accept the adoption. Some never do. However, when Emily is five years old, the only mother she has ever known is murdered. Who will take care of little Emily?
The only witness to the murder was Emily. Emily can not speak, so can she tell anyone who did this. With her caregivers and one determined detective can they figure it out? Emily communicates by nodding her head, and tapping her fingers. She can also point. Will that lead them to the killer? Will they get to him before he gets to Emily, or someone else?
Detective Gabriel Isaiah has six weeks until retirement. But with one case still unsolved, retirement hangs over his head like a dark cloud. Is his family safe, or are they in the midst of danger?
I really enjoyed writing this book. I pray it brings you a blessing, and takes you to a new place just for a few hours.
